Please help. I installed Windows from Windows 8 but some Apps seem to be missing. The one I would really like to recover is the App Store. Does anyone know how to get this back. Whenever I double click on it, nothing happens.

On Windows you can only access App Store through ITunes.

I know this problem as I have experienced it.
The
answers from Microsoft are okay (albeit complicated), but I have ended up having to reset Windows every time. It is a fairly long but at least simple process. You'll need to reinstall any apps you've added, either by CD or download or via the Store.
