AntiVirus and Firewall Conflicts

Hi,

I would like to install an Antivirus program. Can anyone offer some suggestions as to an ideal personal AntiVirus program that will become seamless with my Zone Alarms Pro personal firewall?

When I installed Zone Alarm Pro a few months ago, real time scanning of my e-mail seemed to stop despite still having an active subscription to Norton. Was this some sort of conflict caused by a duplication of features? How can I ensure that these two softwares interact properly?

Can anyone help? As always, my questions come with a ton of appreciation to anyone who can help. Thanks very much in advance.

Mike
