Donna , a clreck in a grocery store, is lost in thought again.She is anxious about her wedding.She is thinking of the big day and how would she look.She believes if she was alittle thinner,she would look and feel good about everythings.Abruptly,she snapped out of her reverie to see the line formed at her counter.She realized from the look of these faces that she is not the only one who is anxious.No,these people have their own troubles and anxiety.

The first one in line is Tom.He is a twelve years old boy and obviously he's been crying.His parents are getting divorced and he thinks that he is the reason.He believes that everything is his fault.Even passing the math test couldn't be of help.It only made his parents angrier and he couldn't figure out why?

The second in line is Loraine.She is wearing a mask that she rarely could see without.She was an active member of society.After her retirement,she didn't leave home.She is a fread of germs and being contaminated by any illness they are talking about at the news.She rarely sees her children and grandchildren, because she thinks she might infect them with with one of those illnesses.

The last one in queue is Mark.He is a succesful businessman and you can tell that from his appearnce.Mark comes here weekly to buy antacid and painkillers;he has developed ulcer lately because of his worries and anxiety of becoming " the man who can be ".Now,he no longer enjoys his life, though he approaches here with his impending doom and sour stomach.

These four people have a unique individual.They have differing backgrounds and future.But,they have one thing in common;anxiety.Anxiety disorders,as groups, is considered a mental illness in America.Researches done by National Institute of Mental Illness stated that over 19 millions of American people suffer from these disorders.Anxiety is a combination of biological and physicals factors,like heart diseases and diabetes.They are treatable ,though.People can be hepled gettin over this by professional care.
