Lawsuit against psychologist's boss

I filed a lawsuit against my psychologist's boss, and I asked for my psychologist to provide my medical records with him. The psychology office said that there's a change in procedure in which psychologist has to review the documents/medical records before provided to me, and I need to make an appointment with him. Is there legal problem to meet with psychologist again? Psychologist's rights to change medical records if meet?
