I saw this story and it brought me to tears.
This woman is living up in a great old redwood tree named Luna,
& there ARE people who are trying to stop the greedy lumber
business from cutting down every last one of these old giant
redwood trees! I have yet to be able to travel to N. CA. to
SEE these trees for myself yet, in MY LIFETIME! Have you???

I grew up loving those old trees. I first became aware of them by watching Kirk Douglas in the film THE BIG TREES. How anyone could be so greedy and uncaring is beyond me. And it should make no difference whose land they are on.
