Some things are just too tragic for words. But their memory will live on in our hearts.

*Someone shouts 'can we throw them down the toilet yet?' from afar.*

We can stuff them and give them to you, Nimh!

You know, before I die, you'll have to show me the Nimhesque things that you've collected.

I had a baby dragon ... nobody can replace her.

And on the second count, yeah, sure, deal!

Aw Sad... when did you have her, Nimh? Would you like to buy another one? Did she never try to poison you?

(You really should write a book about your travels... then people could make a pilgramage to see old guides to Amsterdam from '68, and various other things.)

Welcome td8181!

No, not the type that fly and breathe fire. The story is about komodo dragons, a very large type of monitor lizard.

You say you doubt your English, where are you from?

O, I'm cool with the whole fake-dragon thing. The whole scene.

Hell, but you write so interestingly. If you don't, then I'm going to have to bribe Berlusconi into taking the Netherlands over.

Maybe we should have a random, Human Interest chat post, rather than being divided? Actually, I thought that it was cool, a few days ago, with all the posts being madly active...

Why are they called 'Monitors;' do you know?

My dictionary is telling me that these lizards are called 'monitor' for the reason that they are fancied to "give warning of the presence of a crocodile".

Since I've only ever seen goannas (an Australian variety of monitor lizard) in the zoo, I cannot respond as to the veracity of this supposition.
