A couple of questions when you get a chance
1. Do you have a portal such as the one at able2know that you intend release?
(Failing that is there one that you could suggest)
2. I guess you are aware that Norton is blocking affiliate ads by default
What is the best method to counteract this? I notice many people are using php code of some sort to redirect the url, could you point me to where I could find such a code. (I am guessing this also gets around some of the scumware that swaps the affiliate site code for its own)

You mean like a phpbb CMS portal? If so, yes I will release one soon.

I plan to release some redirect code of my own in the future, and don't have any suggestions in the mean time.
Thanks for the reply Craven
I read your busy, so this question might not be easy to answer! but do you have an idea of the sort of timescale I would have to wait for your portal and code.
Probably about 3 weeks, but between now and then anything can change.
But it will be based on a mod by Ca5ey called fetch all. It will be an overhauled version with additional features. If you are in a hurry try fetchall.
Thanks Craven
To have a worked through able2know CMS is what I want, so I'll wait and hope
So, I'll wait and see how things are going for you.
Just add one warning here that should really be in the other thread! but I figure that as many people will spot it here!
Folks need to ensure they follow your mod to the word! and then further ensure that if they make any other subsequent changes that they spot any change to your mod!
I successfully installed your mod with relative ease a while back and all was working fine. However after some security patch from phpBB it changed your mod! And I never noticed
In this case the posters name was once again showing as the link on index page rather than the date!
I only spotted it two weeks ago, and literally since then the spiders have been once again all over the forum and have since indexed hundreds of pages.
Thanks Craven
I need a good BB for my nanny site....
can I afford your system?
Please advise.
The forum is based on phpBB, and it is free. And all code for the forums that I have time to release I release for free.
