i'm trying to translate something into latin but I'm really struggling
I am blessed to see the newborn's eyes open and honoured to see the dying man's close
if you could help me with either the literal translation or a translation that makes sense i would be grateful

This assumes that the subject is feminine.
If masculine, change
beata to
beatus and
honorata to
honoratus.
