A legal contract worded confusing to a Judge

A poorly written sales contract was written in a way that the Judge is confused and wants our lawyer to amend the complaint to reflect the words such as 'OTHER'. The defendant interpreted the contract that our belongings are owned by him if we failed to get our property in a timely manner even though we informed the defendants of 'unforeseen hardships' that delayed our efforts to obtain our belongings in the 90 days aloud.

@kchisom12,
Okay, so what's stopping you from amending the contract?
