I have a domain name, and it gets the website from another domain
i.e. http://www.domain.co.uk website at http://from.here.com

the thing is i need people to think that they are at http://www.domain.co.uk an would like the to be displayed in address bar, I saw someone say to read
http://www.engelschall.com/pw/apache/rewriteguide/ but it went a bit over the top, could someone please tell me what i'm ment to be posting where?

offhand - you could use a giant frame. Then it will never change from the url of the frame.

I can't remember if htaccess can cloak to a seperate domain name, but I know it can hide the url of anything within a specific folder at the other site. keeping your url up on top (ie make mydomain appear with anotherdomain/stuff's content)

if that's the case - let me know the other folder location and I'll give you the code for it. If not - think about the giant frame idea, which is commonly used and isn't considered a redirect.

I'm out for the day - but will check in when I get back.

HydrouK,

From what you describe you probably don't have mod_rewrite available to you.

It sounds like a domain routing to a free host. Is that correct?
