@peacecrusader888,
Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on the earth; Allah is Knowing of all things - Sourah 49 (the Rooms), verse 16

Allah must know when Jesus was born, but I don't know exactly. I suppose 6 years before Himself, as is generally assumed.

@Olivier5,
Did I parse that correctly? Jesus born 6 years before Allah/God?

@Fil Albuquerque,
No, I'd say he was willing to wait pretty patiently. I would assume he has full control of it and could 'fast forward' if he wanted to but it sounds like he is interested in the process so wouldn't want to miss that much.

It's been a hell of a show, even better than House of Cards or Deadwood.

@Leadfoot,
No, Jesus was (perhaps) born in 6 BC.

@Olivier5,
OK, I see. It was the "born 6 years before Himself" part that threw me.

@peacecrusader888,
I am waiting for Fil Albuquerque and Tes yeux noirs for their answers to my question. If Allah is omniscient and knows everything, he should know when Jesus Christ was born. This is a past event.

If you were to believe in a god, be sure that He is the true God.

The very concept of 'omniscience' is an absurdity. The only claims for it come from various organized religions. Do you believe God is?

The exact date of Jesus' birth (or the body he inhabited) is of little interest or significance. If you believe the book with his story, his birth as a separate entity was 'in the beginning', long before earth existed. The 'beginning of what' is an interesting question. You have any ideas?

@Leadfoot,
The true God knows everything. He is omniscient. He knows what happened in the past and knows what will happen in the future.

There are many gods that people worship but there is one one true God (John 17:3).

@peacecrusader888,
A book creating a god cannot be the source of its veracity. It's called conflict of interest.

@peacecrusader888,
What you write is rather correct , but the true God is N O T the god of the
bible or any other religion ! ! !
He is God and father of the WHOLE mankind , the real creator of the universe .
AND of course not ONE of the parts of his child - the mankind - will be lost !
Do you really think he is a worse father than you ? How stupid .

About 13.79 Bil. Earth years, but you already knew that. It's start probably does mark the beginning of something significant. I can only guess, but probably the point where God thought about having 'us' coming into existence.

Religious conceit is at least entertaining.

@Setanta,
It's man's inferiority complex rather than his conceit that baffles me.

Yes, you have always seemed easily baffled to me. "Man" is neither inferior nor superior in any meaningful way in the cosmos. The idea that humanity has any significance other than to themselves is absurd and pathetic. Humanity's biggest problem is the conceit that they are significant.
