Hi!

would be nice if somebody could help me with the following question:

for a bachelor thesis (for university) I am using the following book about marketing: Edit [Moderator]: Link removed

It is the 4th edition (the newest), but actually I am in possession of only the third edition. Can I still use the third edition or do I always have to buy the newest one and reference the newest one? (APA)

Kind regards and thank you in advance!
:-)

@ats2016,
The only one who can rightfully answer your question is your professor (or at least the TA or teacher's assistant depending on the size of this particular class). Only your professor knows how up to date these books are or whether his standards are stringent enough for that to actually matter.

@ats2016,
Typically the edition changes are very minor. As long as you reference the correct edition in your bibliography, I don't see a problem. If it was a text for class you might run into issues.
