Need help with a brain teaser! My husband is taking a quiz and is stuck on the following:
23 is to 3983 as 32 is to ____.
Options are
3839
3994
4874
9599
I've tried everything I can think of! Anyone have any ideas?
Obviously a typo in the first answer offered. Should read 3893 :wink:
I agree; it would be puzzling if it were not...
Ah, my friends, my husband has called me with the answer... The sum of the digits is the key:
3+9+8+3 = 23
9+5+9+9 = 32
Thanks for the thoughts though! It was driving us both crazy.
23 is to 3983 as 32 is to 3893
Options are
option 1 is the answer because 32 is the reverse of 23 so is the 3893 is the reverse of 3983
See, when I can't solve something I blame the typo.
Wish my teachers woulda let ME make a call or two for answers during a quiz!
