So its kind of random but can someone tell me when or where they used streamers or confetti to represent blood in plays. its for research, nad if you can also point me to the direction of some video or maybe just names of people or play writes who did this that would be great. Thank You!

I recall seeing a red handkerchief used for this purpose in the film,
Shakespeare in Love - presumably this was in connection to the real day.
My suggestion would be to look in Elizabethan times.
