Not too long ago, I had used someone's phone to access my Facebook account and for some reason it stayed open. This person began spying on me and when I felt they 'knew too much' about my going ons, they admitted that they had access to my account as it was continually logged in. I changed my password but have reason to believe that it didn't matter.

Am I being paranoid? If they are continually logged in, does it matter if my password is changed?

How can I be sure they no longer have access to my FB account even if I change the password?

@guibox,
If you changed your password then they should no longer be able to log into your account.

@Robert Gentel,
But if they never log it out, won't it just stay open?

@guibox,
When you change your password it should kill all open sessions.
