Hi,
I have a problem with an adware that just got in my IE, I can't get rid of it. I already tryed Spybot Search & Destroy and adware. But nothing works, the virus seems to call a different dll each time eg "res://ilrel.dll/index.html#28129" and change my homepage and some other IE setting to this address, no matter if I change them, it change them again.
This is a very nasty thing and I really would like to get rid of it.

anyone that can help pls....
thanks

You're infected with a homesearch assistant variant. To get rid of it, download About:Buster 2 from www.malwarebytes.biz , unzip its files to a folder or your desktop, start it and hit OK, then click update. A new screen should popup. On that screen hit Check for Updates. If it says it found an update hit Download Updates. If it doesn't it will automatically tell you and exit. Now for the scanning part. Hit start and then OK, and the program should start scanning. Then hit exit and reboot.

Once rebooted run About:Buster once more to make sure everything is OK.

If you still need help after that, you'll need to post a HijackThis log here & make sure not to reboot before getting further instructions. I probly won't be around very often but another expert here will be along shortly.
