OE - The Outer Limits

Does anyone know if OE has limits of what may be saved?

I periodically dump deletes, but there are about 4,000 in my Sent Box as well as plenty in folders. Is there an upper limit of space or does this all tie in with computer hard-drive space? (Is that clear?)
