Canada's Syrian Refugee Plan? Bonkers or brilliant?

(not specifically single, gay Syrians - but Syrian refugees)

the first plane load arrives here in 25 hours, the second plane load arrives in Montreal on Saturday

about 400 have arrived in the last 10 days by standard commercial flights

the video of that first family coming through made me well up a bit

not so good when you're at your desk

but there's been a bit of that going on here

I don't see the risk being worth blocking the single males but I understand that this is just a compromise to get going and applaud any country that wants to shoulder more of the burden that this crisis represents.
