I hope that some one can help me to get ride of an search bar called ISEARCH. I have tried everything i can think of to get my computer clen from it, but nothing works. Someone help me plese
If you are using XP follow these steps:
Click Start/Run and type cmd
In the DOS windows type cd c:\windows\system32 and press Enter
(I suppose that the XP partition is C, if not change the drive letter to XP drive partition letter)
Then type regsvr32 /u /s toolbar.dll and press Enter.
Then type del toolbar.dll and press Enter
Then type exit and press Enter
Now your Isearch toolbar should be gone.
If you are using Windows 2000:
Click Start/Run and type cmd
In the DOS windows type cd c:\winnt\system32 and press Enter
(I suppose that the Windows 2000P partition is C, if not change the drive letter to Windows 2000 drive partition letter)
Then type regsvr32 /u /s toolbar.dll and press Enter.
Then type del toolbar.dll and press Enter
Then type exit and press Enter
If you are using Windows 98 or ME:
Click Start/Run and type command
In the DOS windows type cd c:\windows\system and press Enter
(I suppose that the 98/ME partition is C, if not change the drive letter to 98/ME drive partition letter)
Then type regsvr /u /s toolbar.dll and press Enter.
Then type del toolbar.dll and press Enter
Then type exit and press Enter
isearch bar
Now the ISEARCH BAR is gone. I thank you for all the help that you have given me.
