moving to UK EZ compatible notebook?

Hi there, I'm moving to England and want to get a laptop over here because prices there seem too high. anybody have recommendations or experience with adaptibility? someone said the G4 has british port? Help is needed from an illiterate and challenged buyer. Thanks

British port? I'm not sure what that is, perhaps there may be incompatibility in voltage and such?

If so, you can get an adaptor.
