Hello! I am thinking of adding your mod_rewrite. I just spent 1 and a half greuling hours updateing from 2.0.8 by hand since my forum was heavily modded . Has anyone had any expereince with installing this mod on 2.0.10?
I have installed it successfully on 2.0.10 boards.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Is it just me, or before the mod install, the url's seem simpler on 2.0.10 than 8?
2.0.10 installed, some problems
I have installed the 2.0.10 modifications on my 2.0.8 board and I have no problems with the SEO mod.

Worked perfectly the first time. Just read up on anything you don't understand first and you should be fine.
I found all my answers here and at my host's support forum (for like - htaccess permission) before I actually made the change, and the whole thing installed in fairly short order.

I just tried. everything seems OK except that the URL's have no become .html as they are supposed to be :-(
Log out and test it.
It rewrites the urls for guests (note that spiders don't log in).
