Britain is becoming a nation of people afraid of their own shadows

Quote:
Britain must be the laughing stock of any fundamentalist Islamist who hopes one day to wipe Christianity from the face of the world. We need never fear having our freedom, religion or heritage taken from us because we are too busy giving it away as fast as we can.

So hopelessly confused have we become that too many can no longer tell the difference between respecting other people’s faiths and customs and surrendering our own.

In Accrington the cross was removed from the crematorium in case it offended those of other faiths. Can anyone imagine the uproar if a Christian were to ask for the removal of a religious symbol belonging to another faith? This is a Christian country, built by Christians, its history and literature formed by Christianity and its ceremonies of state based on Christian observance.

A question

Quote:
It has an established church and Christianity is still the religion of the majority. Why should it remove crosses from anything at all?

Anyone from Britain (as I am() will laugh in your face if you try to put forward the Express as anything other than a rabble-rousing xenophobic tabloid read by low-intelligence Joe Sixpack type people.

Doesn't that describe 90% of UK "news" publications?

The other 10% is really good, of course. The Guardian is perhaps the best media outlet in the world. And BBC and Ch4 News are outstanding.

But the Mirror and Daily Mail (and everything similar) are only fit to line the bottom of bird cages.

I'm sorry you are so out of touch in your own country. Was a soldier beheaded on your streets?
Is the grooming of young girls by Muslims made up?
Are the Sharia patrols made up?
Is the Tower Hamlets safe for non-Muslims?

Answer them all honestly, if you can.

@Tes yeux noirs,
As someone not from Britain please forgive me enjoying Daily Mail
Every morning I read over internet three or four serious newpapers from three
different countries and as dessert I read Daily Mail - especially the letters to the editor.

@Tes yeux noirs,
Anything that scares away the tea party rabble, and stops them masturbating outside our primary schools, has to be a good thing.

We are talking about the Islamic superiority in the UK, not the Tea Party. I am still waiting for an answer to those questions.

@izzythepush,
Who cut his head off? One terrorist act is not a pattern. Islamic attacks, subversion, and refusing to assimilate are a pattern. That you lack the guts to admit it will prove to be a more serious problem than it already is.
