Another depressing poem. I tried writing something a little different. Hope you all enjoy it and let me know what you think of it.
Crimson Covered Walls~Gabby A. A.
Shadows embrace the walls
stained and covered in shard of crimson deceit.
Spider webs lace the ceiling
holding every memory
of by gone years.
Candle lit nites by the pond
and all the love in the world
seized, tortured, murdered, and buried
by deceit itself.
A castle fit for a king and queen
but someones made room for another.
Walks on the beach at sunset
soon turned into stormy nites.
An arguement as heated as a furnace.
a kiss of death,
a forced hug,
a smile that isn't really there.
Trying to trusrt the untrustable
she loses all her sanity.
He comes home
she can smell her on his clothes.
He leaves again
angry at her questions.
He's never home
who would have guessed
it would be him?
Nites alone up contemplating
ways to end this agony.
"I know I deserve better." she said.
"So why can't I let go?"
Slowly she made up her mind
She'd make him face his lies tonite.
Waitng in the living room
with a womans necklace.
A peice of proof
she knows it's not her own
so all the conslusions she drew
must be true.
He pulls into the driveway
unlocks the door
and walks in silently.
Turning on the lights
she's surprised to see
another woman standing beside him.
An awkward silence is shared
until she screams.
She pushes her husband against the wall
and uses the necklace in her hand
to choke the man
the man she once loved.
When she was sure he was dead
she turned only to see
his lover coming at her
with a lamp.
She smashed the womans head
between the wall
and the lamp in her hand.
The lover leaves the crime scene
Now all that's left
are a descesed king and queen
a dead love
and walls
stained and covered in shards of crimson deceit...
Thanks, It was my first attempt at writing something like that...alot of my poems are violent and depressing but not in that way.
