Why is my Gmail not receiving emails after inbox was full?

My gmail inbox was full a few months ago and I kept getting a warning but still receiving emails, but at some point I stopped receiving any new emails so I started deleting emails to free up space. I haven't received emails ever since and don't know how to fix it. What can I do?

You may not have deleted enough to make a difference. See - https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6558?hl=en

i didn't know thatt google drive etc was included...so everything was full. You were right! I just purchased some more space. Thanks for your help!
