would anyone be able to tell me the main factors that have affected the Australian dollar over the past year?
Hey, econ. Welcome to A2K. The main factors affecting the Australian dollar are: the level of foreign debt; the depreciation of the US dollar; interest rates, and the differences between Australian and US interest rates.
Good Grief!!! is that what it is?
I thought it was the number of sheep exported annually divided by the number of bills in circulation.
No, that just affects New Zealand. However, the 'value added tax' or VAT is the price of the sheep that one buys, with the price of the sheep Howard has for his own business paid for by everyone else.
