Why is killing people and animals bad?

My logical reasons for thinking killing people and animals is bad are:
1)They will feel pain,fear or general unhappiness before they are killed.
2)The people they leave behind will be unhappy.
What if you euthanize a person or animal,while ensuring they will know not and they will feel absolutely nothing?So n.1 of my reasons is gone.
What if they leave no one behind that will be sad of their loss?So n.2 is also gone.
I would never kill anyone if my life doesn't depend on it and I would never euthanize an animal for no good reason.However,I would like to also have a way to logically justicy my stance.Do you know of any?
Please,no "taking a life is fundamentally bad" or anything like that.No religious talk,either.

There are no logical reasons that killing people and animals is bad.

Every moral rule comes down to a core belief that can't be proven. It has to be taken on faith. For example, your reasons are based on the fact that people feeling pain or sorrow is bad (something that you haven't proven).

My core moral belief is that human life is sacred. My other morals (which include not killing people) stem from that.

But I have no logical way to prove that human life is sacred. I just believe it.
