The 5th Wave (movie)

In a picture leaked on the internet of the filming for "The 5th Wave", we see Nick Robinson and Chloe Moretz in military uniforms running through a group of people in blue uniforms. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I have heard in the book that Cassie, the character Moretz is playing, has to save her brother from a military camp. So my question is which branch of the military 1) uses those specific uniforms and 2) took her brother. Thanks!
