The general census is that Mickey Rooney was married 8 times. I found a web site where it stated he was married 9 times, and I'm kicking myself for not saving it.
Does anyone know?
We (sisters and I) have our own webpage, and this is one of the questions a viewer gave to us.

Sorry to disappoint you Bett he has been married 8 times. His last marriage was to Jan Chamberlain in 1978 and they are still together.

Mickey certainly is a living legend. Was fortunate enough to see him, along with dear Ann Miller in "Sugar Babies," on the New York stage. They were both fantastic!
