I dreamed of a liberator who would make men free,
I asked who and when it would be,
I asked and prayed until I could see,
The answer is now, me,
And the Land of the Free.
We nearly destroyed Iraq and in the process left a hundred thousand homeless and tens of thousands dead. Not to mention the devastation to their economy. With liberators like us you don't need dictators.
There are interesting implications to the poem; what do you find as the 'land of the free?' The people? the government?
(Incidentally; well said, Nick.)

so, you would rather have the alternative, over a million dead at Saddam's hand. Freedom isn't free, give Iraq ten years and they'll be eternally grateful.
