Is Satan Male or Female?

Satan (and the demons) is thought by Christians to be an angel who rebelled against God and fell from Heaven.

And angels are frequently depicted as human in appearance, though many theologians have argued that they have no physical existence.

Which leads us to ....
And than adding Jewishviews, Islamic views - not to forget the different Christian views and those at different times about angles ...

EM - there is no way that supernatural beings of the calibre attributed to either the deity or the devil exist. You can sleep easy.

The devil, I feel, is one of the world's first personifications of evil and disobedience, created by the powers that be as a disciplinary figure, something more to fear than authorities. Therefore, it's neither male nor female but a part of our minds-- at least to me. But, on a literalist level, the devil is male, as Lucifer was a male angel.

My understanding is that angels, fallen or not, have no gender to speak of.

lucifer is a tall good looking guy and satan is a midget (like hitler and napoleon (hint hint))

satans also very male and sexist and homophobic and a total egoist in fact as prince of the world up till now hes the biggest walking talking ego there is

anyway just imagine satan is very real and that hes walking the earth with the rest of us and if you are unfortunate enough, maybe one day you will meet him

and in my definitions anybody male or female who works for the greater good ie for the common good or a good cause much bigger than they are then this makes them an angel
and anyone who works for themselves and their ego only without caring for the rest this makes them a demon
or an angel works for the spiritualising force
whereas a demon works for the materialising force

Satan can be whatever it chooses to tempt us.

I always find it sad when I see it hurry past in the form of a sheep - with just the wee-est little sulphur trail for we keen of smell to tell the difference....

i have no idea or i would have been promoted long ago. but, a civil service exam would be a good idea, that's evil..........
