I have Windows 2000 and up until I downloaded Liquid Player I had no problems with my CDROM drive. Now when I turn on my computer I get an error message that says " There is no CDROM player attached to this computer. CD player cannot start."
Well there is a CDROM player attached to this computer. I can play music cds on it without any problem. I cannot access data cds however. Windows Explorer doesn't list it as a drive. It is listed in the Device Manager and I have tried to reinstall the driver. No luck.
Looking for advice on what to try next.

Love to help you, but am clueless about these things ... Let's hope some technical guru person sees this & solves the problem easily for you.
Good luck!
Thanks for the sympathy, Olga.
Hiya swimpy!!
Is it an internal or external drive?
When you click on the device in the device mgr, does it say that the device is working properly?
"OOPS, ....duplicate post"
It's an internal drive. The device manager show it as not working properly. It tells me "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"
Have you completely uninstalled the drivers, and then reinstalled?
There are some patches for this problem on the Liquid Player website,..check out this link, pick the version of the player you installed, then click "updates and patches" then download the appropriate patch,..this oughta fix it!
