Hello, I own a site named Final Fantasy Crystals and it is indexed at google. One thing however, I noticed an error...

By searching "ffviii limit break squall" in google
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&q=ffviii+limit+break+squall&btnG=Search

My site is the 4th link...

next to the Cached and Similar links it has this:

Edit (Moderator): Link removed/ FFVIII/FFVIIICharactersSquall.php

why is there a SPACE before the FFVIII/

Look at it! Thats so weird, my link directs to
Edit (Moderator): Link removed/FFVIII/FFVIIICharactersSquall.php with no space.. its only the link in the google page thats wrong..

cuz theres a space, its not "BOLDING" the FFVIII/ in the url even if it maches the keywords

With that, then I get less keyword thingy in google, scroll down and the 2nd to the last link, it has FFVIII/ too and its bolded, i have it and mine isnt it... its because of the space!

well, what i really want to know is just an explanation..

thank you!

I've noticed this phenomenon quite a bit in Google's results.

I don't have an explanation for you...just mentioning that your site is not the only one.

I think it's simply a bug. Try reporting it to Google.

The links's not broken just displayed weird.

And the bolding is often wrong. In this case, quite frankly the space is not the only reason. The query bolding works fine with some spaces.

But those are just quirks about how the display works.

Oh ok, thanks then!

oh, and I dont know if its just me... but if the name of the page is

MainCharactersSquall.php and u search for main characters squall, it wont bold it.

if the name is maincharactersquall.php, it will! i think it treats an uppercase letter as a new word or something... the best i think to name your page is seperate the words...

so yeh, imma go RENAME all my pages now -.-

which one is better

main_characters_squall
or main-characters-squall

That's a matter of personal preference. Go with whatever you like. Many people like to standardize the way they do that sort of thing though...whatever method you choose, it can be good to stick with it...just looks better, & it can be easier to recall names from memory if you do.

Depends on the algo Google rolls out.

SEO pundits started swearing by this-style but to compensate an algo can target that as SEO (which is seen by Google right now as their biggest threat due to the SEO spam that AdSense caused) and cause it to be a bane rather than a boon.

The underscores are a more conventional file naming structure and are, in my opinion, less likely to be penalized ina future algo.

Then again, if I were writing an anti-SEO algo I'd simply target long file names on a sitewide basis.
