Hah, another sad depressing poem for everyone. Let me know what you think. I might post a happy one sometime soon. I know I have them, it's just a matter of finding WHERE i put the happiness poems.
Forever In The Darkness~Gabby A. A.
The light falls away and darkness rises
and all that saddens the heart
is brought back into memory again.
A girl with a broken heart lays in bed feeling barley alive
a dream torn apart, ripped at the seams
and cut into a million peices
she picks up the picture of him and her together
throws it at the wall and screams
"Some forever. Your darkness has wrecked my life!"
A boy with beaten and bruised self esteem
tries to see through his tears to tie a noose
he wasn't ugly but no one ever saw
how handsome he was as a whole
He never had friends, he hated being a loner
and as he wraps the rope around his neck
remembering all his lonliness he says
"What a short forever.Your darkness has ended my life."
Somewhere in the darkness
a boy of meer 16 holds a gun to his fathers head
Ever since the boy was young
his father always told him he was nothing, and he was worthless.
His father always came home and got drunk and beat the little boy.
All of his life this young man knew nothing of love.
And as he pulled the trigger he yelled,
"You'll never know forever. Your darkness took so much of my life!"
In a dark alley, a date gone wrong.
A girl only looking for love is pushed against a wall.
Stripped bare and unspeakable things done,
she remembers why she went out with this jerk.
Her father never loved her,
he tried hard not to be part of her life.
She dated all kinds of men trying to find love
and now her most precious innocence is being robbed of her.
As all this goes on she thinks of her dad and whispers to herself,
"I'll never know forever with you. Your darkness has robbed me of a good life."
A beautiful young lady
lays stoned on the sidewalk
she'd partied hard and done all kinds of drugs
and now couldn't even figure out where she was.
Her mother didn't even know she was gone,
nor would she probably have cared.
As the girl got up and tried to find her way
she thought of her mother and said
"What a way to live forever.Your darkness has made me lost and alone."
The sun comes and all the sadness seems to fall away.
When really, they just pretend it's not there
until the darkness returns again that nite
and no ones happiness is spared.
That was pretty good, very detailed. I liked it!
