I couldn't agree more.
That last weekend marriage struck a
very sour note with the public. she had to do something.
She puts on a show of being ready to marry for love, but is seemingly forced by her family and management into a prenup, much against her wishes. This restores her in the eyes of a public angry that she would treat marriage so cavalierly the last time.
She stays with this guy for as long as she finds it amusing, (a year or so), and when she breaks up, maybe a couple of public incidents are staged where thee guy is mean to her in public, stomping off to leave her in tears.
Then she divorces him, grateful to her family for insisting on the prenup now.
Meanwhile, the greedy no-good, (in the eyes of the public) plays the heavy, hiring lawyers to try to get more than his $25 million so. Finally, he gets defeated in court, and takes the 25 mill.
Magazines run stories about the sadder but wiser Britney, and can Britney emotionally resume her career after such a public travail, etc.
Britney releases an album called Redemption and goes on all the talk shows out there to tell the world how she threw herself into her work to ease the pain of the divorce.
And so on and so forth.
