Happy Friday!
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog....
Good one jespah especially since my little Bean dog who after being abused as a puppy has since adoption has come a long, long way back and is almost a normal dog now. When I am down I always think of what she has been through and I feel better.
One of my favorites from my LMR days, no guts not glory and fish or cut bait.
If you fall and break your leg, don't come running to me.
You keep doing that you're gonna put an eye out.
Stop crying, or I'll give you something to cry about.
If I've told you once I've told you a thousand times.
If you keep making that face, it will stick and stay that way.
If you fall and break your leg, don't come running to me.
You keep doing that you're gonna put an eye out.
Stop crying, or I'll give you something to cry about.
If I've told you once I've told you a thousand times.
If you keep making that face, it will stick and stay that way.
Well, that's twice... 998 yet to go, mother...
(sorry)
Once burned, twice shy.
There's many a slip twixt the cup and the lip.
We've got to stop meeting like this!
I recently heard a man who was rather too merry, described as being
"as full as the family po". I hadn't heard that one before.
I use this expression all the time. It IS a cliche, but I think that it has a lot of meaning. In fact, I used it on a post today:
"You don't throw out the baby with the bath water"
What goes around, comes around!
Be careful what you wish for.
Do or die.
Not on my watch.
The dog ate my home work.
