The only thing I can think of is to attempt to open it in notepad and then save the notepad file and try to open it in Excel. There are no guarantees here, and it's likely that you've lost this information.

I know you don't want to hear this now, but next time? Save your Excel work in particular on a separate drive (say, in the cloud, or on a thumb drive), as spreadsheets are often a ton of work, they're often mission critical, and they are hard to restore.
