Can someone please tell me the name of this movie?

So I read about this movie. I can't remember what it's called, so I'll tell you everything I know.

It's a high school movie. One of the main girl characters in the movie is played by an actress who's about 5ft9 to 5ft10. In the movie, a boyfriend(maybe of another girl but possibly the same) dies during a sports game(I think football, but I'm not sure). And it's not "A Champion's Fight". Thank you!
