Help With MSconfig Utility Please?

Hi!

I wonder if someone here could help me out a little... Neutral

Ok, when you run msconfig, and go to the last tab (startup) you get a list of memory resident programs, right? I don't know if they're every last one memory resident, but anyway...

I've racked up quite a few items in the given list, so many that it's getting very tedious. Is there a way I can remove items from the startup list?

Thanks!

You can do it manually by following each item path.
Most of Startup in MSconfig are found in:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\ MSconfig\startupreg

And

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupfolder

However you can do it through an Automated script found here:
