Longing for the open ranges of cromagnum life
Mezozoic jungles looming in shadows of giant reptilians
Prehistoric bacteria swimming in muddy puddles of saliva
becoming mammals out of the plagues of the dead
Monkeys learning to club their prey
and eat it with sharpened sticks
the weakest of the pack taken down in hunger
with vicious hands its ribcage opened
a steaming heart screaming it's last
as the blood streams through broken pink-tinted teeth
