I would really like to utilize this, I think it would make a nice attraction for another point of entry via search engines. If it could be advertised for free submission of articles, I think it could turn out to be a good cycle of content and visitors. But I don't know how good it is for spiders, right now it uses search queries attached to the url to get the categories and articles, is there a way to change that? Maybe something like using mod re-write for that as well?
I am not familiar with that mod, who wrote it?
Doesn't seem too search engine friendly.
yes, I tend to think that's because it uses the php queries in the url, but if it's possible to use something like the mod re-write, that would make it good?
No no, I'm saying so because of the linking structure, but that can probably be improved.
so you would say a using the rewrite wouldn't be necessary just, the linking structure? what's wrong with it?
I only took a quick look but it nests a lot, the forums themselves would serve as a better feed.
Nothing is necessary, they are improvements. htaccess would be a big improvement.
by htaccess you mean rewrite?
