I'm a newbie to facebook. I am having a problem registering my name: Gun Caundle. Facebook will only allow me to spell it as Gunn. Gun is an abreviation from Gunther and people only know me as Gun (with one 'n'). My intention is to use facebook to help promote a book I have written and it is important to have the correct spelling of my name. Any help would be appreciated.

Use your full name for your individual account and make a page for your author promotions. Facebook will want you to do this anyway. You can call yourself Gunther Gun Caundle as an individual and Writer Gun Caundle (or Author, if you prefer) for the promotional page.
