I had a duo that was seen in district court. I appealed the original conviction so it will be bound to superior. Is there a certain length of time the county has to see me in court before the charge is dismissed? It's been over eight months and I have no court date haven't heard anything else. Thank tou

Probably has nothing to do with the county's response. Ask your lawyer.

I agree with Roger, call your lawyer. You have a right to a speedy trial, I don't know if the same applies to speedy appeals. I can assure you that convictions don't go away all by themselves. It will remain, and pop up every time a background check is run. Your conviction will not expire because your appeal has not been heard.
