So they should . Obama was toadying up to the Muslim extremists before the military crackdown . Egypt would have been run by fundamental peasants living along the banks of the Nile . THAT would have been fun to watch, another Syria .

Bork put the slammite brohood in charge of Egypt ("Arab Spring(TM)") and that created such grief and chaos that there were giant demonstrations, the country fell into near anarchy, and the military finally pulled the plug and took over. This guy Al-Sisi who is in charge of Egypt now is the one bright ray of hope I see in the muslim world and has done pretty nearly everything right since he took office and subsequently was elected overwhelmingly in a real election. He appears to be on the verge of solving every sort of economic prob lem which Egypt has had, is doubling the capacity of the Suez canal, has started major infrastructure projects and is paying for all of this internally without recourse to the World Bank, has pretty much rounded up all the slammite brohood losers and put them in cages where they belong...

You'd think the very least a decent US president would do would be to call the guy up on the phone to congratulate him. No way. Bork Obunga's reaction to all of this has been to invite the slammite brohood reps who somehow avoided being in cages to some sort of a pep-rally/prayer-meeting in the US state department and sent them back out into the world with a twinkle in their eyes and a swagger in their step to declare some sort of a stupid jihad against all of Egypt.

I don't know how such a powerful country as the USA with a well educated populace can produce so many lame dick presidents .

If Egypt was a democracy, it would be so for one election . Then the radical Muslims will have taken power, like they did, and start turning it into an Islamic state . Just one aspect of which would be the destruction of so many artifacts .

Egypt is in better shape than we are at present. The people there basically overthrew the slammite brohood.

The majority of people in Egypt are fundamentalist Muslims and want an Islamic State . THAT would be fun, given their population . Syria and Iraq have a small population and look at the fun they caused . Did the USA realise the danger and push for a military takeover ? One can only hope they had the brains and balls to do exactly that, the alternative would be a nightmare .
