I have a conversation in messenger that had a message change from seen to delivered. A friend and I tested the mark unread option but it still showed as seen on the receivers side. Is there a way to change the seen icon on the receivers end or is this a glitch?

I’m not sure I understand your question.
If you marked it unread after the receiver already read the message why should it change the icon on the receivers end?

My understanding is that it shouldn't change. That's my point, is it possible to get it to switch to make someone think you haven't looked at the message? Or is it a glitch with my conversation ?
