Hello,
The users and I over at the dark tower site have been pondering this riddle:
I travel far but never wide
Leaving scars I must abide
what am I?
We have a few answers, but I'd like to see what other people come up with...
Thanks!

My first impulse is a river.
Scars being the erosion that it must "abide" and subsequently follow.
I am baffled. Rivers can travel pretty wide. But now that I've heard the riddle I MUST know the answer.
Rivers can travel wide but their nature is to always be more long than wide.
Otherwise we'd call it something else.
Holy Baffling Batman! The Riddlers on the lose again!
Train perhaps, it travels far but cant go wide, must say river sounds better.
Memory
you can have a long memory which can be scarred from bad things that happen to us which we cant forget, so we must abide
I know it sounds silly cuz they can be wide depending on your outlook but going along with Kings series....how about a road? It travels far and leaves scars
I think it's a baby
the journey from womb to birth is metaphorically long
and does not go wide.
the birth leaves scares on the mother who the baby must then abide.
