'get out my life woman, you don't love me no more' by lee dorsey. just one line, over and over and over and over and over since about half 7 this morning. i might go quite doolally

Know what you mean, Ben. The girlfriend has been singing "You are the sun, you are the moon..." and she's got me at it now. Trouble is that neither of us know anymore of the words so it's just that line echoing around the house over abd over again. Smile

Take me to heart

Take me to heart
What more can I say
Take me to heart
Surrender's just a motion away

Quote:
Well if you want to sing out, sing out
And if you want to be free, be free
'Cause there's a million things to be
You know that there are

And if you want to live high, live high
And if you want to live low, live low
'Cause there's a million ways to go
You know that there are

You can do what you want the opportunity's on
And if you can find a new way you can do it today
You can make it all true and you can make it undo
You see ah ah ah, it's easy ah ah ah
You only need to know

Well if you want to say yes, say yes
And if you want to say no, say no
'Cause there's a million ways to go
You know that there are

I ain't a killer but don't push me
Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to gettin pussy
Picture paragraphs unloaded, wise words bein quoted
Peeped the weakness in the rap game and sewed it
Bow down, pray to God hoping that he's listenin
Seein niggaz comin for me, to my diamonds, when they glistenin
Now pay attention, rest in peace father
I'm a ghost in these killin fields
Hail Mary catch me if I go, let's go deep inside
the solitary mind of a madman who screams in the dark
Evil lurks, enemies, see me flee
Activate my hate, let it break, to the flame
Set trip, empty out my clip, never stop to aim
Some say the game is all corrupted, fucked in this ****
Stuck, niggaz is lucky if we bust out this ****, plus
mama told me never stop until I bust a nut
**** the world if they can't adjust
- Tupac (Makevelli) Hail Mary

Listening to some Robert Marley yesterday ....

Old pirates, yes, they rob I;
Sold I to the merchant ships,
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit.
But my hand was made strong
By the 'and of the Almighty.
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly.

Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fulfil de book.

Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

A very moving song Tico.
A DJ once told me that Marley's "Legend" album was a godsend for DJ's ...they could cue it up and be gone for a half hour. Every song on it shines crystal clear.

Yes, indeed. The particular CD I was listening to was Disc 4 from his "Songs of Freedom" box set, which has a live version of "Redemption Song."

and so it is-
just like you said it would be.
life goes easy for me
most of the time.

and so it is,
the shorter story-
no love
no glory,
no here in her sky.

I can't take my eyes off of you.
I can't take my eyes off of you.
I can't take my eyes off of you.
I can't take my eyes off of you.
I can't take my eyes. . .

I'll be your cloud up in the sky
I'll be your shoulder when you cry
I'll hear your voices when you call me
I am your angel
And when all hope is gone, I'm here
No matter how far you are, I'm near
It makes no difference who you are
I am your angel
I'm your angel

HELP!!!!!!!!!
I heard this on the radio the other day (Virginia Trioli, pretty sharp Italian/Australian presenter on the ABC, but fond of playing, corny, daggy Italian songs.)

Now I'm stuck with it!
Days later! Shocked
I may have to take drastic action! It's so STUPID!
