This all reminds me of the Canajun support promised to us after 9/11 . . . they were to send a battalion, a destroyer flotilla and a fighter squadron . . . but after the exchange rate was applied all we got was three Mounties, a hang-glider and a rabid beaver . . .

We are Dutch. We are the ones who won all our wars against the British.

Oh wait, we lost most wars (though we did get Suriname).

Anyway, we are the ones who won from the Germans.

Oh wait, we lost that one too.

Ehm, we are the ones who won the war against the Belgians.

Oh wait, we lost that one too.

Anyway: fear us.

Confused

So if your still not tucked up in the Warren ms bunny, by my calculation, when I was a boy, Australia was a Long Way Away.

That is 12 hours away.

Now you said it was only 9.25 when it should have been about 11.25 pm or later so that means

That means Australia is either floating or tectonic (or teutonic) something is happening and you really are coming here, and I keep putting off doing this calculation, but if its 24 hours for approx 24 thousand miles, thats er 2 hours so 2 thousand miles in about 40 years...

Which means I'll see you next tuesday morning.

I'll put the kettle on.

New Zealand Standard Time is UTC + 12 hours.

The different Australian Standard Time zones are based on UTC, adjusted for longitude. For example: AEST = Australian Eastern Standard Time = UTC + 10 hours (centred on 150° East longitude) is used in Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria and Tasmania. South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia have separate time zones, differing by half an hour (!) or a full number of hours.

AEST Australian Eastern Standard Time, defined as UTC+10 hours
AEDT Australian Eastern Daylight Time, defined as UTC+11 hours
ACST Australian Central Standard Time, defined as UTC+9.5 hours
ACDT Australian Central Daylight Time, defined as UTC+10.5 hours
AWST Australian Western Standard Time, defined as UTC+8 hours

Bunnies generally just observe closing of the shooting season and open season.

Ah, I see (would have been a great and pleasant surprise, although, to see this big Canadian chap with the same name back - not that I missed him, but I felt lonely).

Hi Walter, didn't expect to see you today. I thought it was a national day of mourning in Germany. Hope everything ok besides that. Keep your pecker up old boy Smile

Regarding UTC and bunny time, she keeps funny hours thats all I know. But thanks for the info, I'll bear it in mind.

(yes its New Zealand 12 hours difference. So its stayed put. Thank God)
