First British adult passport from China

I am Australian living in China and I want to apply for a British passport in Beijing to work and live in the UK in September. I have British parents and have their birth certificates. Does anyone know if I just apply online and go to an interview in Beijing as the usual process or is it a different process in my circumstances? Thanks
