Hello - My ex, children and I have moved to a different state than where the support order originated. I want to petition the new state to accept the foreign order. Has anyone done this on their own, and if so, where can I locate the instructions to do so?

@skoo,
Have you tried asking your lawyer or the new state's Bar Association?

@Ragman,
I have paid my attorney to start this process, yet he hasn't. I could try the Bar Association.

@skoo,
I suggest you get at least your preliminary information from the new state's child support enforcement bureau. It's apt to be free and quite accurate.
