Why cant I access any HTTP files?

There is no such thing as HTTP files (that I am aware of).

HTTP is a protocol for data transmission online, and when you posted that post you just used HTTP.

So one of us is confused.

Yes there's no http files. http is hypertext transfer protocol which permits web browsers to talk to web servers.
may be you meant html files???
